Our Mission is to protect the natural qualities of Bidwell Park, encourage responsible park use and to educate the public about issues regarding park management

Organized, publicized and supervised about 800 volunteer work sessions in Bidwell Park so far, providing more than 7,600 hours of free labor to the Park
Encouraged City staff and the City Council to fund a full-time Park volunteer coordinator to supplement the work of the Park employees

Gathered and presented information to the Chico City Council that convinced them to provide the final piece of financing to fund the replacement inflatable dam at One Mile, a structure which is safer for park workers, reduces pool maintenance costs and provides environmental benefits to salmon and downstream creek health
Initiated discussions with Park staff regarding bicycle/pedestrian connectivity to Annie's Glen and encouraged City staff, the Bicycle Advisory Committee, the Park Commission and the Chico City Council to build the Pine St. underpass and bridge across Big Chico Creek in the Glen
Repeatedly contacted the CARD General Manager and Board asking them to provide disc golf opportunities in their facilities, which eventually resulted in the creation of the course at Hooker Oak Park

Provided free CEQA workshop for community residents and City staff
